CHALLENGE
The Cisco Collaboration Summit brings together executive partners, analysts, consultants, customers, and press to share the latest in technology. A key focus for the 2015 event was Cisco’s Spark software and how it reinvents collaboration with multi-touchpoint immediacy.
However, Cisco faced the challenge of weaving four distinct audience tracks into a unifying theme, while creating alignment among internal teams. Cisco needed a partner to create synthesis, uncover an emotion-driven theme, bring it to life–and lead the planning, design, and production for the entire event and several vendor teams.

SOLUTION
Worked as a team, our in-depth discovery phase led us to a key insight–the power of disruption–embodied by Cisco’s collaboration technology and Cisco Spark platform.
We created the theme, “It begins,” and expressed it through provocative, handmade illustrations that not only conveyed a moment of inception, but also how Cisco is changing every facet of collaboration. Its four colors represented each audience track and the uniting force of people coming together. This powerful image created spark among internal teams and unified Cisco under one vision for the event.
We combined our conceptual strength with carefully orchestrated design and production. Starting with a site visit, we identified and planned high-impact placements and developed creative to follow suit. As the nexus between key vendors and Cisco, we shepherded the the new look and feel all the way through to launch.

RESULTS
Creating brand alignment from the start enabled a successful execution. At its opening, the hall was filled with palpable excitement, with one Cisco executive noting that, “The provocative visuals truly unified the event in a compelling way that set Cisco apart.”
